BELEN L. DOFITAS, MD MSc PhD
Dra. Belen is the President of the Board of Trustees. She is a member of the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS), a researcher, a faculty member of the College of Medicine, University of the Philippines Manila, and an active consultant of the Departments of Dermatology in Philippine General Hospital and St. Luke's Medical Center – Quezon City.
EDNA JOY RENEJANE, MD
Joy is the Vice-President of the Board of Trustees. She is an Internal Medicine specialist and a military doctor. She has a keen interest in skin diseases and leprosy. She is active in the Quezon City Medical Society and organizes medical missions serving underserved communities.
MARICEL PARPA GICO
Maricel is our Corporate Secretary and heads the Programs and Resource Development Committee. She was a PLM social worker handling educational assistance and is now an administrator at a private school in Metro Manila.
JENETTE B. CALLADA, MBA
Jen is the Treasurer of PLM and heads the Finance and Human Resources Committee. She is a Certified Public Accountant who was once the Finance Officer of PLM before joining the WHO and Tearfund Philippines.
JOY S. PONTENILA, RSW
Joy is the Auditor of PLM and was a PLM Program Director. She is a Social Worker by profession. She has been engaged in development work since the 1990s and has been actively involved in church ministries.
JOSELITO M. GUEVARRA
Pastor Joey is the Head Pastor of Kainos Christian Ministries. He had ministered to the spiritual needs of the Philippine General Hospital Hansen’s Club members.
MA. ELOISA F. DIAZ
Ma’am Elsie is a businesswoman and proprietor of the Green Balai organic farm in Bataan. She and her late husband Ralph worked for the United Nations for more than 20 years.
JASPER NUEL A. DAYANAN, MD MBA
Dr. Jasper is our Assistant Corporate Secretary. He is a graduate of the Residency Training Program of the Dept. of Dermatology at the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium, formerly known as the Tala Leprosarium. Jasper became a PLM volunteer while he was still a medical student at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.
NICO MIGUEL DE LA CRUZ, MD MBA
Doc Nico is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University BS Biology program. He completed his medical education at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health. He then continued his medical training at The Medical City, Pasig. He is currently practicing hair restoration surgery at Clinique de Paris, Philippines. Nico became a PLM volunteer while he was a medical student.
THERESA LADJA
Thess is our Office Manager and more! She worked with the UP Cooperative for several years before joining PLM. She also assists the Program Director and Board members in project needs.
